Bent Branderup® Educationpad "Felt"
For the best possible training in a good academic seat
Attention: In the following text you will find the description of the Educationpad "Felt". Please note: the feeling of the felt pad is not the same as the feeling of the leather pad. It is sligtly less precise due to the different material.
Simple and flexible like a riding pad, it has the elegance and features of a saddle, with a saddle cushion and seat pad. The cushions are variable and can be adjusted to the shape of the horse's back with little effort. To change the seat padding and adapt the saddle to the rider's anatomy, just a few simple steps are enough.
Why a training pad? The Bent Branderup® training pad not only gives the rider better comfort in the hips and thus a longer leg and a relaxed seat, the training pad is the first riding pad that gives the rider precise balance in the pelvis. Experience has shown that the rider on a conventional riding pad or lambskin saddle often tends to have a hollow back or a back that is too rounded (crooked back) for various reasons. With the training pad you can change both the saddle cushions and the seat insert yourself, giving you the opportunity to find a relaxed and balanced seat. Discover how the balance of your pelvis gives you more precise sitting aids. The training pad is an optimal link between the rider's seat and the horse's back and with its help the rider learns to feel and guide his horse with the seat.
Attention: The "Felt" training pad is a tool for training riders and horses in academic horsemanship! It does not have a solid tree or gullet and is expressly not suitable for use with stirrups! Fit: The “Felt” training pad is very variable in its fit on the horse. We would be happy to answer your questions.
Material:
- Felt seat: Nubuck leather or smooth leather
- Colors: The felt colors correspond to the colors of our Bent Branderup® felt pads.
- Seam color and logo correspond to the seat color (except for a black pad with nubuck leather, here the logo is silver)

- Size: Standard / High withers Pad length: Standard / High withers 49cm (front to back saddle edge)
- Seat length: 37cm (seat leather area)
- Saddle flap: 30cm (seam edge to lower edge of saddle flap)
- Saddle cushion: variable with special filling wool
- Filling cushion in the seat: for individual adjustment of the hips and pelvis using filling wool
